Math Video Games

Big Brain Academy refers to a collection of video games that was made by Nintendo. This series is designed to focus on various academic subjects, which include mathematics. The game has five categories, namely think (logic), memorize (memory), analyze (reason), identify (visual) and compute (math). The mathematics category features a number of games to help students develop their mathematical skills. Big Brain Academy has a multiplayer setting, though players can use just one Wii remote control at a time. Although it received an “E” rating for everybody, the game is highly recommended for those eight years old and above.

Another video game that deals with mathematics is Timez Attack. Big Brainz, Inc. designed this game to improve the skills of children on multiplication tables. Timez Attack is primarily intended for third and fourth grade elementary pupils. In this game, players need to solve different math problems.

The good thing about this video game is that it can be downloaded for free from the website of the aforementioned company.
